Iain is our clinical dental technician and joined us in 2017. Iain qualified with merit in a diploma in Clinical Dental Technology from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2011. As one of very few CDTs in the Highlands Iain is ideally placed for making dentures for our patients, as he can carry out both the clinical and technical aspects of denture construction. Iain is married with two children, and is interested in badminton coaching and outdoor pursuits such as kayaking and paddle boarding.
Sinead qualified as a dentist in 2017 from the University of Aberdeen. Prior to joining us at Tain Dental Care in October 2021 she worked in practice in Edinburgh.
She is interested in all aspects of dentistry and is particularly keen in ensuring patients feel comfortable and relaxed, and hopes to make a visit to the dentist a more positive experience.
Sinead is excited to have recently been appointed as a trainer by NES for newly qualified dentists.
Sinead and her husband Ali are both originally from Inverness and are delighted to be back home in the Highlands. They have two young girls, Fiadh and Una and a Cavapoo, Maggie. Her interests include running (when the weather is fair!) going to music festivals and exploring new places to visit in Scotland.
Niamh qualified from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2018 and joined Tain Dental Care in 2022. Prior to joining us she worked in practices in Inverness and Huntly.
Niamh particularly enjoys treating periodontal disease and taking patients through their journey to stable gum health. She also likes working with anxious and paediatric patients to get them to a point of being comfortable and at ease in coming to their dental appointments.
In her spare time Niamh enjoys keeping fit, travelling and spending time with her family and friends. Niamh recently took a sabbatical in which she travelled to Canada, Fiji and Australia over the course of a year and looks forward to returning to Tain Dental Care.
